WTOL Toledo sent a crew to cover the series. Here's the segment from the newscast:
Line on the Series:   Yes/No: Will there be a poolshot home-run?
Yes/No: Does someone get wet making a play on a ball in the pool?

Aces beat: The Aces welcomed King Friday down to the friendly confines of Poolside Park Saturday afternoon. In game one, the Aces struck early with a homer coming off the bat of Evan Bortmas in the bottom of the 1st inning. The Aces tacked one more run on a Justin Hughes RBI single, and that’s all they needed with Austin Bischoff on the mound. Although KF did threaten with 3 straight walks, Bischoff was able to work out of it giving him another shutout on the year.

In game two, the Aces offense somewhat broke out, scoring 6 runs on Mark Brannan with a combination of walks and hits. Evan Bortmas went the entire game for the Aces, allowing only one run on 4 consecutive walks in the top of the 5th. The Aces welcomed out Jordan Strack from WTOL Toledo, who took some footage and had an interview with Austin Bischoff. A short piece was featured that night on the news, and a longer piece should air later in the week.

Friday beat: King Friday had to tap into the farm system, bringing up the Latino wiffleballer, Eddy Torres and Double AA sensation Dan Howarth. They were paired with Mark Brannan and Jason Hewlett to take on the heavily favored Wicked Aces. Austin Bischoff dominated the depleted Friday roster while Jason Hewlett was helped out by a stellar Friday defense but ultimately fell 2-0. Game 2 was a pitching matchup between Mark Brannan and Evan Bortmas. Both starters were strong until the 4th inning, when the rains came and made things difficult for both pitchers. The Aces eventually finished off the season sweep, 6-1.
